MTB gets Rs. 75 lakhs grant for replacing sanitary lines

A Gudli pooja was performed by Jayanagar MLA BN Vijayakuamar at a function organized by Pattabhiramanagar ward Corporatore CK Ramamurthy to replace the 6 inch 7sanitary lines to 9 inch  for entire MTB area in 9th Block, Jayanagar starting from 1st to 8th Cross at an estimated cost or Rs. 75. lakhs.

Others who attended the pooja were Corporators, N. Nagaraju, B. Somashekar, Chandrashekar Raju, Chennigiriyappa and BV Ramesh.

Talking to TBW CK Ramamurthy said that replacing the Sanitary lines and De silting works will solve the major problem of MTB area which is facing since ages, and further will not lead to any problems for another 20 years. MTB area would be developed like Jayanagar 4th ‘T’ Block. Other than the sanitary lines MTB will soon get two more bore wells to solve water shortage problems.

He also complimented his mentor Sri. BN Vijayakumar who took all the Jayanagar Corporators to Mumbai to study the effective garbage system  in Mumbai and to replicate the system in Jayanagar by making it  Zero Garbage area by introducing two shifts of garbage collection by providing two dust bins to each house holds to segregate both Dry and Wet waste in to two container which would be used for procuring source of  manures he added.

He also proudly said that Pattabhiramanagar ward is  getting maximum benefits in terms of infrastructure with the help of the MLA and will further benefit after the BBMP budget is announced.
