Cause Foundation - Hit musical GREASE returns

The CAUSE Foundation is a non profit organization which has for the past fourteen years been promoting local talent through its musical productions, with all profits from these ventures going to worthy local charities. Over the years, we have successfully staged the following broadway musical hits including The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, All Shook Up and Breaking Up Is Hard To Do among others to full houses in Bangalore, Mangalore and Coorg.

This year the Foundation is presenting the smash hit musical GREASE. As always all the music and songs are performed live at each show.

Storyline: GREASE is a musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey and is considered to be one of the best films of the late 70's. It is named for the 1950's American working class subculture called the Greasers. Set in the late 1950's, the musical follows the lives of working class students as they navigate the complexities of love, friendship and life. It comments on the prevailing social issues of the time like class conciousness, teenage pregnancy and gang conflicts but most importantly it is an ode to young love.

GREASE is filled with energetic dances and infectiously catchy songs. The musical recreates the sound of early rock n roll and includes such hits like Greased Lightnin, You're The One That I Want, Summer Nights among others.
