Success Story – Sri D.G. Naidu

S. Mani, an employee who started his career over 30 years ago as an operator in KTCPL, today, heads an entire department. Kumar too who started as a helper over 30 yrs ago, is now a one point contact for customer needs.  There are several such stories behind the success story of KTCPL /KAPL. These are institutes that are full of such success stories and thus have grown from strength to strength. 

Institutes that have a name to be reckoned with, in the precision component manufacturing industry, Karnataka Turned Components Pvt. limited and Karnataka Automats Pvt Llimited, were founded by its visionary - Shri D. G. Naidu.   

Shri D.G. Naidu who began his journey in a small workshop in the army during the second world war, realized and accepted his responsibility of creating jobs for hundreds of people in Bangalore. Not only did he achieve this objective but today, this company under the stewardship of his children Mr. Satyakumar & Mr. Rajkumar along with their team, have reached productivity of zero parts per million rejections.  They produce auto components for (MICO) Bosch.  
KTCPL/KAPL celebrated its golden jubilee last Tuesday, 1st July 2010 at the JSS Hall in 7th Block Jayanagar. This occasion also marked the 88th birthday celebration of Mr. Naidu.  Buoyancee, its constant partner in progress for soft skills development, organized this event which was worth remembering. Hosting an array of colourful programmes, this event showcased some of the prominent singers of Bangalore and also a magic show. The highlight of the evening was the dance performance by Nrithyanidhi, a renowned dance troupe from Mumbai.   

This grand event was a mark of success, tracing the journey of this institute.
