Thafazula Ahamed bags 1st Rank in Rifle shooting

Thafazula Ahamed, the BJP Minority Morcha Jayanagar President who contested in the recently held BBMP election from Gurappanapalya ward, Jayanagar constituency has secured 1st rank by scoring 109 marks in the  Civil Rifle Training Course (CRTC) North held at Thanisandra, Bangalore, and was awarded the certificate and a memento at a function organized at Thanisandra. The function was chaired by  Sri. Prabhakar, DCP, CR North, Sri. Dassappa, and Ramesh ACP’s ,  CR North,  Mr Durugaiah Inspector and Mr. Shankarappa, Sub Inspector.  The event was followed by lunch and prize distribution and certificates to all the 45 members. The team comprised participants from various walks of profession, Politicians, Journalist, Entrepreneurs, Film fraternity and Business people.
The training comprises of  45 members from all over Bangalore, duration of the training was  for one weeks that  starts from 6.30 to  9.3o am.  which includes theory and practical class and in the concluding day the participants would  be taken to Shooting range at CRTC (South) Head Quarters. Where  30 rounds of 2.2 mm rifle will be given, by setting  45 marks as pass mark. and on the final day the certificate will be issued.

Take the application from Single Window Cell located at Bangalore City Police Commissioners office, duly fill the application by furnishing your Income Tax return for 3 years, ID Proof, Property details, nature of business and your profile with 4 pass port size Photos, Medical certificate and a genuine reason for applying a  license. Thus can  be either submitted at Single Window or at your Police Jurisdiction and come the verification and inspection of your property by the local jurisdictions which  goes to DCP and then finally comes  to Commissioner of police for a  final approval.

What do you get from training:
Training Includes: Theory,  Practical Demonstration of all types of Pistol and Rifle, they also teach you the sections and weapon acts,   good holding good aiming and good triggering,
How to load your rounds (Ammunitions) to magazines and hoe to load the rounds to cylinder, and how to un load the rounds. They also explain  you the inner parts and maintenance of your weapon and its acts and sections,  what is self defense and dos and don’ts
Holding is given in a very systematic way, the trainees are well acquainted with weapons with the guidance of Sub Inspector Shankarappa and the introduction of weapons by the experts.
The cost for the Training: : Rs.500/- a head.
Duration of the Training: One week
Timings: 6.30 am to 9.30
