A grand function was organized by the BBMP in association with Vinayaka Mithra Mandali at 8th Block, Jayanagar to inaugurate the Nirmal Shouchalaya, a public toilet near Banashankari Bus stop. Area MLA BN Vijayakumar along with area Corporator B. Somashekar inaugurated. Others who presided included Worshipful Mayor SK Natraj, Mr. Paramahamsha, Dept of Educational Institutions, Mr. Kumar, President, Vinayaka Mithra Mandali, Mr. Krishnappa, AEE, BBMP works, Mr. Suresh, AE, and Mr. Nagaraj, AEE, BWSSB.
The dignitaries planted sapling tress in and around the ward and distributed free note books to the poor children on the occasion
