Mallikarjun. B (Malli) the Byrasandra Corporator never gets frustrated just because he is Congress Corporator. Expectation from the public are high, with people keep calling him for various works such as Street lights, leakages of drainage lines and so on, without even knowing that the BBMP Budget has not yet been announced. But that does not seem to have hampered him in his zeal for developing his ward which actually comes under Chickpet  Constituency
A Gudli Pooja was done for a few projects with Grant from MLA Sri. Hemachandra Sagar, and from the previous BBMP pending budget.
Another Gudli pooja was done for a project being taken up at an estimated cost of Rs. 20 lakhs, viz. Rs 5 lakhs for Concrete works at Krishnappa Garden, Rs. 5 lakhs for Drainage works at Someshwaranagar 1st to 3rd Cross, and Rs 5 lakhs for water connection and Desilting and Drainage works at Garthaman Park,  Acharya Layout behind Teachers College. Besides this Rs. 1.6 crore proposed projects is on the way in addition to a Rs 1 crore project for fencing the BTB Byrasandra Tank Bund under the project called  Rejuvenation  of Lakes in land measuring 6 acres, a new drinking water Pipeline from Dr. Ambedkar Statue to KHB Quarters.
Many such similar projects would take place once the BBMP Budget is announced, said Malli.
