JRWCCA elects its New President

Jayanagar Residents Welfare Civic and Cultural Association (R), Jayanagar, Bangalore at its Annual General Body Meeting elected Sri. Mallikarjun as Hon President and Sri. Chethan Keshava Kumar,  (B.E Computer Engineer)  as President of the Association.

Malli, Jayanagar ward Corporator from ward 153, is popularly known among the minorities and has helped many of the people to get admission in schools, colleges and help their due dates.

An engineer by profession, B. Mallikarjun, (Malli), started his career as convener of Bangalore University Engineers Students Forum, to bring in the changes in schedule of vacations and exam in 1990, 91 and 1994, and also fought for re-valuation, for students’ rights and freedom. At the time he was actively associated with the dynamic Dr. Jeevaraj Alva till 1999. After his death he later decided to join the Congress and worked with giant killer Sri Ramalinga Reddy the five time consecutive MLA for Jayanagar constituency and now of BTM Layout.

Mallikarjun was actively involved in many big cultural and sports events, he was also one of the organizers of Bangalore Habba. He has helped many poor and needy and downtrodden people in the field of education and in getting their works done.

Malli was also instrumental in bringing many young candidates to politics from various different professions and fields and is known for his administrative and crisis handling skills during elections. He is also popularly known with new generation youth.
