Curtains to close on Thyagarajnagar Police Station: NR Ramesh 

N.R. Ramesh, Yediyur ward corporator  who had  taken initiative in writing to the Home Minister and to the  Chief minister to close down the Thyagarajnagar Police Station, due to the inefficiency in administration and failure to maintain  law and order  seems to have worked . The Thyagarajnagar Police according to him have failed in investigating three murders of eminent personalities one of whom belonged to the ruling BJP.
It is said that the staff of Thyagarajanagar Police Station will be shifted to Konankunte Police limits, and the areas covering Thyagarajanagar and Shastrinagar will be included in Banashankari Police Station limits and the NR Colony and Nagasandra Layout will be included in Basavanagudi Police station limits. Some  efficient officials will be posted to Banashankari Police limit, Ramesh stated.
