One of the  world's  largest water heater manufacturers embarks on next phase of global  expansion in India.

Inaugurates a 76,000 square foot  state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the  Harohalli  Karnataka Industrial Area, Bengaluru that will cater  to specific demands of the  Indian  market.

 A. O. Smith India Water Heating  Pvt. Ltd., the Indian arm of America's largest water heater manufacturer, A. O. Smith Water Products Company, marked  the beginning of a new era with the opening of the company's water heater plant located on 20 acres in the Harohalli Karnataka Industrial Area just outside of Bengaluru. The company hosted a plant  inauguration celebration for its dealers  and customers, which featured a ribbon- cutting ceremony and speeches from company leadership. The operation is designed to manufacture glass-lined residential water heaters in sizes ranging from six liters up to 100 liters.

exceeded our expectations; in fact,  the  only limitation has been our lack of a local manufacturing operation. With the  opening of this
