Sizzling Signature Campaign for World Cup
The talk of the town on Thursday was Zee Kannada's take on the cricket world cup - their giant campaign titled 'The Fall Rise! Win & Return - India'. The nationwide signature campaign has to date collected 45,000 handkerchiefs extending up to 10 km in distance, with signatures of the celebrities and commoners alike.
Among the prominent signatories are film actors Upendra, Umashree, music director Hamsalekha, CM HD Kumaraswamy, Dy CM Yediyurappa, Home Minister MP Prakash, and Mohandas Pai of Infosys.

Inaugurating the campaign in Bangalore, the scion of Mysore, Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodeyar, said the Zee Kannada team had collected signatures from hundreds of schools, colleges, shopping malls and IT companies across the country from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, North-East and now Karnataka.
