Convenience foods takes an all new fresh meaning at the recently opened Kovai Farm Fresh outlet in JP III Phase. Fresh fruits and vegetables - direct from the farmer or imported from select international growers - are cleaned and cut in portions you want and then sold. This means you can customise your purchases to your exact requirement of vegetables and fruits. Thus you can restrict your purchase of big vegetables like pumpkins, cabbage, etc to your actual requirement, and it is also time saving for you to buy cut vegetables.
The prices of the produce is also 10-15% less than the prevailing price in other stores, according to the promoters. The store's USP is it serves fresh juices across the counter with no adding of water, to retain its original flavour and tangy taste.

.Harshini S. Alva, the promoter said the vegetables and fruits are handpicked and only fresh stocks sold every day. The unsold stocks are given away to NGOs and Corporation on a daily basis, she said.
The outlet is a part of Kovai Pazamudir Group, who have been retailing fresh fruits and vegetables across their 24 outlets in South India for the past five decades. They now intend to open 20 outlets in Bangalore, in BTM Layout, HSR Layout, Hennur Ring Road, 8th Block, Jayanagar, and other areas.
