SETTING AN EXAMPLE

Celebrating 25 years of married life has got to be special. The Shenoys did one better - they made their silver jubilee a golden moment in their lives. Smt Sugandha N. Shenoy and Sri N. Narasimha Shenoy threw a grand party for 130 orphans of Geetashrama, Bapujinagar, Mysore Road, Bangalore. The party comprised not just a sumptuous meal, but also a magic show presented by well known magician Arun Kumar Dutt. Sri Omananda Swamiji who runs the orphanage presided over the event and appreciated the service-minded spirit of the couple.

Orphans, physically handicapped, the mentally retarded and such other children of a lesser god have always been like an extended family to Narasimha Shenoy, who also runs a home for the mentally disabled children. Here's wishing them many more such wedding anniversaries in the future.
