BBMP election is mega episode
While even mega TV serials are cutting down on their episodes due to dwindling viewership, the episode of BBMP elections continues on its long run, said Congress leader and electoral aspirant, Chandrashekar Raju. The BJP present government is neither conducting the election nor concluding the drama, he charged, despite repeated reminders and directives from the court. The government keeps giving excuses on one or the other pretext, but the fact is it is scared to face the electorate.
On the one hand, the CM says he is willing to conduct election as per the directive given by the court and on the other hand, the incharge ministers provoke the teachers to file objection to extend the election further, Chandrashekar Raju charged. The people are fed up with the episodes which are creating lot of confusion and inconvenience.
Most of the aspirants have lost hopes and stopped going to people, as they feel embarrassed to face them, with the people confronting them about when and whether the elections will be held. As it is, the aspirants are running up heavy bills by way of paying rent for their newly opened election offices.
As per the latest directive of the Karnataka High court the election should take place by 21st March, and the entire process should be completed by March 30. But the suspense continues. Maybe we have to wait for the next episode.
