On your mark, get set and go!
 The BBMP elections has become a big puzzle for the people as well as the contestants. Will it be held or will it be postponed for the nth time? The latest is, it will be held before March 30.
It was like, you are asked to be ready on the mark, get set, and suddenly the whistle was blown to stop all of us! Many reasons were cited for deferring the elections like the reservation categories list which was asked to be reworked, extension of dates by the government due to SSLC and PUC exams, and finally the High court directing the government and the State election commission to conduct the election.
The delay has upset the cart for many electoral aspirants and contenders, but former Corporate N Nagaraju is unfazed and a rare example. He has been going about serving the people just like the time he was a corporator earlier.
"As far as people are concerned, I am their corporator, they come to me for all their problems," he says, "You don't really need power to serve the people."
Nagaraju oozes confidence about his chances as he is also bolstered by the support of the result oriented BN Vijaykumar. All BJP candidates in Jayanagar assembly constituency will immensely gain on account of his popularity and record, he said. He gave the example of Byrasandra ward, where many development works had been taken up, such as park upgradation, asphalting of roads, bus stand, etc.
