Samarthanam prevails over PES
 This match of Cricket needs a huge round of applause! Samarthanam blind cricket team played with the P.E.S Engineering College in what can be termed as an unique match . It was indeed a red letter day for the team mates of Samarthanam, when they beat the P.E.S. team in a one day match organized by PES college of Engineering, Bangalore, on 26th February, 2010.
Samarthanam won the toss and chose to field first in a restricted 10 over match. P.E.S. College of engineering put up a score of 96/5 by the end of their innings. Samarthanam team played the sport with best spirits and determination and outshined the P.E.S. team by putting up a score of 99/3 in 8.1 overs. Samarthanam Batsman Prakash, 52, not out was declared the 'Man of the Match'.
