Sankalp Project Proposal

Sankalp has been in the fields of social work and Training for the past three-decades. The successful people behind this project have already worked extensively in the field of women and child welfare, senior citizens and differently abled persons by equipping them with various Training and outreach programs going to the extent of successfully rehabilitating them.
Sankalp has a special support training program to support single deserted women, school drop-outs, neglected and destitute children. We support them by providing affordable education and vocational training for self-employment for the ones with immediate employment needs.
Target is to Place the trained participants, so that the unemployed can get employment, thus the issue of unemployment is also addressed. The school drop out children are trained and developed in Skilled training such as, Photography, Plumbing, electrician and mechanical or Automobile repairing etc. thus equipping the less educated to stand at par with their educated counterparts with confidence and pride.
(1)Partners and Sponsors: Sankalp is supported by philanthropic people with the means but otherwise ocuppied.They are very sympathetic and supportive to the cause.
The target is to organize training for different batches in a year:
1) Four batches of 30 students for 3 Months programmes.
2) Six batches of 10-15 candidates for 1 Month programmes.
Four batches of Min. 10 candidates for Weekend Programmes.
Employment tie-ups and opportunities are created by networking with all the other organizations, requiring such candidates.
Cost of the Proposal: It could be approximately Rs-50,000- 60,000) for 30 students for a period of 3 months.(2000 Rs, per candidate per month).This is just the cost required for the students. Apart from this, it would also involve the following details:
(2) Major Economic Development Project Description:
After the training the school drop out, neglected and destitute children as well as the non -working dependent women as well as men, will be able to sustain themselves on their own by starting their own Tailoring unit, Catering & bakery unit, plumbing shop, photography and other creative & innovative artifacts making leading them to self-sustaining jobs.
So lots of Job opportunities will be provided for them in various ways, immediate jobs can also be provided to them. We will also network with other people who require these already trained people
Proposal Objectives:
To organize Training Programs for needy candidates.
To nurture more volunteers into similar thinking to organize a networked and effective group.
To create alternative job opportunities programs for young and old alike.
To create a self-sustaining society.
To develop and provide an Interlinked web of people and a parallel web of programmes too.
Proposed Activities and Timelines (Training and Employment Plan):

Nursing care for Infants and Senior citizens.
Catering , Table Etiquettes and Cooking
Life skills Training and Education
House-keeping and home décor.
Tailoring
Prenatal and postnatal care and baby care.

Create self-help groups and home entrepreneurship possibilities at the individual and group levels.

The anticipated number of participants for this project and the eligibility criteria involves people from all cultural background: such as unemployed, School drop-outs, single/deserted women residing in a specific area etc.

More such networking supports that would help financially.
Providing required training personnel, and the required materials for the training part.
