Bharathi Vishnuvardhan played "Superstar Looti" for a cause

Started on January 20th 2010 "Superstar Looti", a one-of-its kind contest on BIG 92.7 FM known for its simple yet lethal and gripping format is giving the sandalwood superstars a shockwave. Everyday one star is looted dearer. After actor Puneet Rajkumar, director Yograj Bhat, Mano Murthy, actor Yogi 'loose madhav' and many more, today it was the turn of the legend and the back-bone of Kannada film industry late Dr. Vishnu Vardhan. BIG FM's "superstar looti" contest in its true spirit saluted the vision of the actor and Philanthropist by organizing a special show with the legend's wife and renowned actress herself Ms. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan. The special show was played and dedicated by Bharathi Vishnuvardhan in the loving memory of Dr Vishnu Vardhan.             
 "Superstar Looti" started on 20 Jan and ends on 11 Feb in the breakfast show 'BIG Coffee' hosted by RJ's Harsha and Shruti from 8 to 11 am. The "Superstar Looti" contest offers great amount of interactiveness and celebrity connect with a topping of huge cash gratification. Everyday a superstar comes in the breakfast show and interacts with the listeners randomly picked from the registrations. It's a one-to-one format moderated by RJ's wherein the superstar asks engaging questions about oneself for eg: In which movie I have grown my hair till my shoulder etc. There are six questions asked to a listener, for each question the amount doubles, 5k, 10k, 20k, 40k, 80k and finally 1 lakh for the sixth question. The participant can opt to back out after each question and take the money won. If he gets a question wrong, he loses everything. To register for the contest, users are required to tune in to BIG 92.7 FM.
 

Since Dr. Vishnu Vardhan was the superstar of the day in "Superstar looti" contest, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan with her family today came to BIG FM studios as a listener to participate and play the game. RJ Shruti was all set to make the turf tougher for Bharathi by asking six rare questions about Dr. Vishnu Vardhan. As a twist in the contest, Dr. VV's fans were taken on-air to ask questions to Bharathi. Questions like where did Dr. VV get his wrist ring that he wore for decades...till the end? Surely it took a minute for Bharathi to respond with right answer but nevertheless she played with great interest and inner strength and finally gave all the six answers correct with a sense of reminiscence and winning 1 lac prize money.  Continuing Dr. Vishnu Vardhan's vision and his support to the marginalized, Bharathi dedicated the special show to her husband and donated the amount for the various causes taken up by Dr. Vishnuvardhan.
