Police 'Venkatesh' to contest BBMP Elections

Nowadays electoral aspirants don't just woo people with big promises, but adopt an innovative and practical approach. One such aspirant is 39-year-old young Venkatesh known as Police Venkatesh, in ward 170 from Jayanagar constituency.
Police Venkatesh, was appointed as Special Police Officer (SPO) by the police department after ascertaining his good credentials from the public. He is a National Volleyball player and Secretary of Atlanta Sports Club which has been organizing Junior B Division State level volleyball every year in Jayanagar for the past 26 years. As President of Karnataka Yuva Jana Sangha, Jayanagar he has organized blood donations camps, honored senior citizens, organized Tsunami relief, etc.
Venkatesh is also General Secretary, Youth Congress Bangalore serving the party for over 15years. He was rewarded cash prize for helping nab a chain snatcher by the then Police Commissioner Sri Achuta Rao. He has assisted the police in nabbing criminal elements and also reforming criminals. He has helped them resettle by getting them jobs. As a blood donor, he has donated blood for more than 85 times, helped poor patients by getting them free treatment in government hospitals. He also is the convener of a social organization called ATLANTA SERVICES started in 1982. The Club has conducted several coaching camps for boys and girls below 18 years, in volleyball, physical fitness, trekking, yoga etc. Thousands of young men trained by the Club have found a place in the state and national teams. Apart from that few have found employment in State/Central Government and Public sector undertakings. Besides sports the Club has successfully enrolled around 380 members as voluntary blood donors. Venkatesh is popular in the area for offering working couples to help them in payment of their power, water bills, phone bills as they do not have the time for such routine activities, while helping them get a plumber, carpenter, electrician and drainage cleaner, etc free of cost.
Other services offered by him include procuring medicines, arranging blood donors, tours and travel, property tax renewal of vehicle insurance RTO, couriers service, packers and movers, etc. To avail of his services, all you need to do is to become a lifetime member of Atlanta Services.
Is this not something interesting and unique approach given by this youngster A. Venkatesh who is a serious planning to contest from ward 170 Jayangar East comes under Jayanagar constituency from the congress ticket.
My strength is my friends and well wishers who are asking me to contest in the forth coming BBMP election as they feel that I am well known to them and know the Geography and problem of the area and more over I am still young and my desires and aims and be compared with this generation. And there fore me contesting the BBMP election will only make our Ward modern but also will set an example and role model to other wards if given a chance.

More over I have a huge youngsters support of both students working class executives whom I always promoted in the fields of sports and culture other than the senior citizens and residents who are still grateful to me when I rescued and helped their children to go on the right path, those boys then even turned out arrogant  and treated me as their enemies as I was trying to reform them and telling them to concentrate in studied. But later the same boys came in search of me to thank me, that is because they are now in the right path, that fear was always their with the slum children when ever the want commit crime they always think twice, as they all knew that my association with the police department  was good, that prevented many youths come out from the crime. Thanks to police department for giving me the liberty in getting the boys in right track. Also thanks to my leader Sri. M. Suresh for being my inspiration and also being an example on how to mingle with youngsters and people with no partiality, that has also motivated me to keep my foot step to be a peoples representative
