At a Function organized by CKR

150 people get Pension certificates

Under the guidance of area MLA BN Vijayakumar a function was organized by Ex. Corporator and Jayanagar Constituency President BJP, Sri CK Ramamurthy, to hand over old age pensions. The function was held on 13th January at MTB area, 9th Block Jayanagar under Pattabhiramangar ward bearing number 168. Pension sanction certificates to over 150 people of his ward including widow pension, old age pension, handicapped people pension was given away on the occasion.
Also present on the occasion were Ex. Corporators N. Nagarjau, SK Natraj, B. Somashekar, Aspirants Chandrashekar Raju, Sridhar and Chennigiryappa, General Secretary and BV Ramesh, the BJP leader, Y Venkatesh, SC Morcha General Secretary and Prakash Mandoth, JTA, President.
It was the one of the biggest program ever in Jayanagar where 150 deserving poor got their pension.
Pension details: Widows - Rs.400/-, a month, Old age - Rs.400/- month and Handicapped -Rs.1000/- month.
Earlier BNV inaugurated a water tank which will store and supply drinking water to the locality in addition to the regular Cauvery water supply, and a Computer training centre at MTB area. The project was sanctioned under the MLA's quota at a budget of Rs.10 lakhs consisting of two floors measuring 13x15 while in the ground floor free computer training will be provided and in the first floor there will be a free circulating library.

Further, sale deed was given to 45 people of DK Nagar residing in the locality for the past 4 decades. Sri CK Ramamurthy announced his decision to adopt two children from DK Nagar who lost their mother recently and said he would take care of their monthly expenditure and education expenditure throughout their career. He also said that Rs 45 lakhs has been sanctioned for concrete roads, asphalting, and replacement of Sanitary drainage pipes.
The highlight of the programme was a passionate plea by CK Ramamurthy's one time foe turned friend BV Ramesh. BV Ramesh who joined the BJP recently, recalled that he had run CKR in an earlier election, and acknowledged that CKR under the guidance of Jayanagar MLA BN Vijaykumar had transformed the MTB area. He also recalled that the MTB area had benefited immensely from its "three brothers" viz. CKR, BVR and Soma, all of who had worked tirelessly for the betterment of the people. He appealed to the people to bless his brother CKR in the forthcoming election with their full support.
