BNV Gears up for BBMP election with new projects

Jayanagar MLA BN Vijaykumar is not only trying to score maximum number of seats from Jayanagar but also in all wards of Bangalore, in his capacity as the City Unit President. His aim is to have a Mayor from his party.
On 11th January it was a day of poojas for development works. The new year seems to have started with a bang for the people of Jayanagar from the point of view of development works. BNV performed Gudli pooja for new projects, accompanied by all the aspirants and Ex. Corporators CK Ramamuthy SK. Natraj, N. Nagarjau, Chandrashekar Raju, party workers and locals. The event was organized by area Ex. Corporator B Somashekar.
The projects envisaged are:
1) Formation of ground and maintenance of existing compound, construction of Gallery steps in Shalini playground for ward 58, at a tendered cost of Rs 26.55 lakhs; the works covered are leveling the ground, filling murrum 40 cm and compacting, construction of gallery steps on Eastern side (Remaining portion), providing new gate on western side, repairs of existing gates and compound with paintings.
2) Additional developments to Shalini Playground viz. construction of open air Platform (Stage)  on the southern portion adjacent to park, construction of Volleyball court on western side, construction of international standard skating ring on northern portion, construction of Cricket net practicing pitch  on the south eastern portion at the tendered cost of Rs. 45 lakhs.
3) Construction of Multipurpose hall building opposite Shalini playground at old ward 58 at a tendered cost of Rs. 152.25 lakhs , at a vacant land situated near the ground consisting of two floors -  ground floor Car parking,  first floor E-library, second floor for public utility, including covering the existing storm water drain for car parking.
4) Construction of Shuttle court at Basket Ball Play ground on 18th Main, Jayanagar 4th 'T' Block, in ward 58, at a tendered cost of Rs 90 lakhs, covering construction of shuttle court hall building in the vacant land situated between MLA's office and Ward office with parking facilities at ground floor and a shuttle court in the first floor.
5) Construction of Gymnastic Building on southern portion at Chamundeshwari Play ground on 18th Main, 4th T' Block Jayanagar in old ward 58, at a tendered cost of Rs. 27.20 lakhs which includes repairs of existing gates and compound, painting of the existing compound.
