ICE TV - Hot choice for young talents

We all know, have seen and heard of ICE TV, the channel that is a decade old, initiated from Jayanagar and Bangalore south, and eventually made its presence felt in most of the other parts of the city, with a viewership of one lakh. But few know the face behind the channel, Sri T.S. Kamal Kumar, its promoter.
TSKK started as an ordinary Congress worker way back in 1988, as a follower of senior Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy. Later he became NSUI Unit President and then  Jayanagar Block Youth Congress General Secretary in 1990, City Youth Congress Secretary, and as Vice President, Youth Congress Bangalore City, then General Secretary for KPYCC, ( Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress)  and a DCC (District Congress Committee). He contested the BBMP election on two occasions but did not make it. Still, he continues to be a diehard Congressman.
TSKK has been sponsoring free education to the poor and needy people, every year he distributes free note books and blankets to poor children in slums, and is also voluntarily involved in many NGOS, Blind organizations in raising funds for their projects.
As promoter of ICE TV he has never used his channel to promote himself. On the contrary he has taken the lead in supporting many temples, educational institutions and cultural organizations to promote their events free of cost.
TSKK has appealed to the Residents Welfare Associations and the public to identify talented people of any caste and religion, i.e. those who are good in singing, dancing, public speaking skills, etc, and cannot athose who have tallest like singing, dancing, public speaking skills and any such talent but are unable to afford financial expenses, to contact ICE TV, for free patronage.
Incidentally ICE TV has signed a Joint Venture with Big networking "DEN" Digital Entertainment Networking- the Infoking Channel Entertainers Pvt. Ltd, and is now called as "DEN ICE". It has wide network and tie ups with majors channel like CNN and NDTV.

Additional benefits which Ice can offer is not only with their channel but also with other major channels ICE TV also offers free shooting, script and technical support, apart from encouraging young talents.
TSKK was the one who first initiated the hoisting of the Kannada Rajyotsava flag at Shalini Ground, 5th Block, Jayanagar and consistently organized Lakshadeepotsava at 9th h Block, Jayanagar  at Aiyappa Swamy Bhakta Mandali Temple for the past 10 years with free Annadana to more than 6000 people every time by lighting 1 one lakh lamps by the local residents. One such programme will be conducted on 3rd of January 2010 which will be inaugurated by Sri. Ramalinga Reddy and M. Suresh, KPCC Member and Jayanagar Congress leader. The programme will also be telecast live on ICE TV.
