Oxford comes to woo Bibliophiles in J'nagar
Oxford Bookstore have opened their third new outlet in Jayanagar, 5th Block on Feb 23. Ms. Sudha Murty, CEO, Infosys Foundation, inaugurated the new bookstore in Jayanagar before a select audience of writers and booklovers.
Located at the heart of city’s residential and commercial district, the bookstore is committed to bringing the best in Indian and international publishing and book retailing to the city. CHA BAR, a space that narrates the complete tea story and offers a range of teas from the world over, is a part of the store experience.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Priti Paul, Director, Apeejay Surrendra Group, said,” I am delighted to bring Oxford Bookstore to Jayanagar in Bangalore. Other important sections include Business, Indian writing in English, Reference, Vernaculars and Nature. A large collection of Indian and International magazines is systematically organized for easy accessibility.

Oxford Bookstore first began retail operations in the city at The Leela Palace in May 2003. The second store was launched at the Wipro Campus in November 2006. The other stores of the chain are in Kolkata (established 1920), Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Goa and Shillong.
