S. Nagendra, the closing was a two day workshop on Entrepreneurship by National Academy of RUDSETI {resource persons:Mr. Ramanujam (lead trainer), Ajit Kaikini}. Budding entrepreneurs and students of management walked in with hundreds of questions and walked out with specific, real-time answers and hopes. Interactions with successful first generation entrepreneurs like Sri Anant Koppar and Rtn Raveen BV helped them to understand the ropes of setting up and successfully running an enterprise.
On the 13th of November, about 400 economically underprivileged students of St.Anthony's had a day out at Buoyancee. Buoyanceeites cooked a sumptuous meal for them at their activity centre. The day's activity, sponsored by Rotary Cubbon Park and well wishers, included life skill classes, art and craft, singing, talent show put up by the children themselves and ofcourse, whole lots of fun. The inaugural session was attended by Mr.Chandramouli, Deputy Director, Doordarshan, Bangalore and by Mr. Nagaraju, former Corporator, BBMP.
The 14th of November saw a deluge of activities at Buoyancee. The day started with an interesting and invigorating session for ladies - called FEMPOWER. A GARAGE SALE was organized to raise funds for the free programmes that they conduct through the year for the under privileged. Leadership trainings were organised for Rotary Club Cubbon Park, Rotary Club Whitefield and Rotary Club East at remand homes, crisis intervention centres, blind schools and many govt. school/ colleges. Over 3000 teens and youth benefited.
A contemporary dance performance DHWANI, at the R.V.Dental College Auditorium, by the famed Nrithyanidhi troupe from Mumbai wrapped up the Children's day celebrations. Buoyancee, in association with This Week Bangalore and Fitness Web, felicitated two youngsters as 'Youth Icon' for their achievements. Dr Manu Kulkarni, ex UNICEF and Emeritus Prof. SIET Management College, was happy that in these years of consumerism, we still see under 25 yr olds Mr. Naveen Kumar and Mr.Ashwin Nair as true examples of responsible citizens. Mrs.Shashirekha and Mrs.Savitha were also felicitated for their selfless and unstinted contribution to society. Prof. Ashok Bhattacharya, Dean of Leviosa Business School released the motivating cards 'Read - Reflect - Realise - Relive'
November 15th saw another unique attempt by Buoyancee - Bonding. It was a day when parents, children and even grandparents spent time playing, learning and Bonding with each other. This was one activity designed to overthrow the concept of 'time crunch' families face and reestablish bonds.
Youth are the most important segment of the society - keeping this in mind, Buoyancee organizes an annual TEEN TREAT programme. This year the programme was held at Anand Ashram, on the 16th of November - whereby high school students from about 20 school participated, in a one-day interactive workshop, to hone their innate talents and nurture the leadership qualities within them. Mrs.Snehalatha Rohidekar, a Sahitya Kala Academy awardee, released Kshitij, the annual magazine of Buoyancee and also gave away the certificates to the participants at the valedictory function.

Covering the whole gamut of people associated with children, would definitely be incomplete without taking into consideration educational institutions. The 19th of November saw about 30 educators from some of the most prestigious educational institutions, come together and share their experiences at the Educators Meet - a platform provided by Buoyancee. The ambience of the St.Marks Hotel was a perfect setting for them to express their concerns as well as ideas and suggestions.
The 20th and 21st of November saw many, who wanted to improve their communication skills as well as their confidence in public speaking, head for the Manandi Samskruti Sadana in Jayanagar. The COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP - one of the regular endeavours at Buoyancee attempts to help people improve their confidence and better their communication skills was a resounding success.
In these times of slowdown, it is nice to find institutes like Buoyancee rising up to such crucial societal needs. Kudos to companies like Fitness Web, Krupanidhi Business School, Manandi Samskruthi Sadana, St Marks Hotel, Palate Korner, Jayanagar Jana Jagrithi Vedike and the like, who support these vital needs.
