Congress to be cadre-based

Earlier this week on Sunday the Congress ward committee meeting was held at Byrasandra at Government high school, chaired by Sri. Suresh.M, Congress leader, Krishnabyregowda, State Youth Congress President,  along with all the wards block presidents, local leaders and other 500 party workers.

Subsequently they organized another meeting at Munichinnapa Kalyanamantapa, Bannerghatta road chaired by Sri. Krishnabyregowda, Suresh., KPCC members, Block presidents and other Congress leaders in large numbers
The leaders expressed the view that the thrust would now be on transforming the Congress party from being a mass-based party to a cadre based party, as per the instructions of their leader, Rahul Gandhi. In keeping with this move, the local leaders in Jayanagar had conducted membership drive at Byrasandra ward and were aiming to target 10,000 youths from all over Jayanagar constituency said Suresh.

Commenting on delay of BBMP election he said they are neither respecting High courts decision nor  the people's demand.
