Website on Shankar Nag
As a part of the Theatre Festival 09, Ranga Shankara has launched an exclusive website on Shankar Nag. In memory of the late matinee idol, as a tribute to whom Ranga Shankara was built, the website was launched on his birthday, Nov 9. The website address is www.shankarnag.in.
Launched by Girish Karnad, the website will contain insights into the star's life, exclusive pictures of him and links to snippets of his movies. People who have worked closely with him, have also written articles on him.
This event is a special one for Ranga Shankara, as it was his dream to see an exclusive space for theatre, and it was in his spirit that this theatre was built.
