The Children's Day Out

"How is this organization functioning for 16 years, on such a large scale, successfully, without any kind of support from the government ?" wondered the obviously impressed Deputy Director of Doordarshan, Mr.Chandramouli. He was addressing the gathering, as the Chief Guest of the programme 'JNANA DEEPIKA' organized by Buoyancee, in which about 400 underprivileged children from St.Anthony's Hign School participated.
The Children's Day Out programme is an annual event at Buoyancee, where the students of a school are invited to spend their day with us, as part of the festivities Buoyancee has in November. These students gained through sessions on Life Skills, alongwith sessions on singing and craft. After a sumptuous lunch, cooked by the staff of Buoyancee, the students had an opportunity to exhibit their talents at the Talent Show organized for them.

The day started with an inaugural formal session presided over by Mr.Chandramouli, the Deputy Director of Doordarshan and Mr. N.Nagaraju, Ex-BBMP Corporator and member of BDA. While wholeheartedly extending their support to Buoyancee, they applauded the efforts put in by the organization till date.
