Harvard Award for Wockhardt doctor
Awards and recognition are not rare for Dr Vivek Jawali, Chief Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon, Wockhardt Hospital, but this one - the Medical Excellence Award - is special, if only because the award comes from the Harvard Medical International, of Harvard Medical School of USA. The award was presented to him by Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath at a special ceremony organised recently in New Delhi. Wockhardt Group Chairman Habil Khorakiwala and Dr Alan Jacobson, Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School and Senior VP, Joslin Diabetes Centre, Boston presided over the ceremony.
