Free landline from BSNL
No one, just no one, can match BSNL. Here's another reason why: If you have a BSNL landline phone connection with an average monthly billing of Rs 1500 or more, you are then entitled to a second telephone, absolutely free of cost! Besides getting an instrument free, you will also save on security deposit and installation charges.
The second phone connection will however not come with any free calls. The outgoing calls will be charged at Rs 1.20 per call. You can use the second phone to receive only incoming calls and bar outgoing calls facility.

According to BSNL officials, a customer need not wait for any official letter from them. All you need to do to avail of this offer is to walk in to any BSNL customer service centre and claim the second phone connection, if you satisfy the eligibility norms.
The scheme is also applicable to the Centrex facility on rent-free Sulabh connection in case the first phone is already covered under the Centrex facility. BSNL customers who have opted for Super (Rs 1450 monthly rental) and Premium (Rs 2450 monthly rental) are also entitled to this offer.
