When it comes to arts and crafts, it can't get bigger than this. The Sahara Arts & Crafts Shopping Fest in JP Nagar Ground Opp. RV Dental College, is a one-stop shop for artisans, exporters, consumers and the discerning shopper, with an eye for something special. Delve into this awesome and admirable world of designs and colors, of glaze and grandeur, intricate embroidery and zari, and more. The exhibition has an amazing spread of handcrafted jewellery, fine hand embroidered textiles, beads and zari work, block printed dress materials and bed sheets, Hyderabad Pearls and Orissa Filgree silver jewellery, handicrafts and handlooms, Tushar silk, Rajasthani lakh bangles and jutes, wood carvings and inlay, Khurja pottery, mat weaving and carpets, handmade agarbathies and Deepavali festival related items etc.

Organised in association with the Ministry of Textiles by the Sahara Handicrafts and Handloom Association, the festival is a great opportunity for the public to get a peek at the various rare and dying crafts, said Rakesh, one of the organisers. The products are attractively priced as the main aim is to give a platform to the highly talented artisans and craftsmen from all over the country, he said.
The festival is on from September 25 and will go on up to October 11. There is ample parking space and floor area is fully covered with terrace to protect shoppers against sun and rain, with food courts. Credit cards accepted. Open from 10.30 am to 9.30 pm.
