Sunayana Eye Hospital celebrates 17th Year Anniversary

Started in 1992 in a humble way, with a working space of 200 sqft, the Sunayana Eye Clinic  has evolved into 20 bedded Sunayana Eye Hospital, with a working space of 10,000 sqft, having state of the art high-tech, surgical Facilities in a span of 17 years.
The dynamic force behind this gradual growth is the hard dedicated and unstinted service rendered by Dr K Y Narasimha Murthy, Chairman and Medical Director of Sunayana Hospital. Dr Murthy is recognized as a leading Ophthalmologist with a healing smile. He is a much sought after Ophthalmologist since he is well informed, highly knowledgeable with a continuous zeal to update information about the modern technology in the field. He has expertise in Phaco and Refractive Cornea Surgeries.  
Dr Murthy is ably supported by his wife Dr K Sujatha Murthy, Associate Director and CEO of Sunayana Eye Hospital. She has graduated from BMC and did her Post Graduation from MINTO Regional Institute of Ophthalmology. Her main interest is Phaco and treatment for Glaucoma.

On 12th and 13th Sept 2009, Sunayana Eye Hospital celebrated its 17th Anniversary and the function was presided over by Sri Vijaya Kumar, MLA, Jayanagar. A Hi-tech ophthalmic Operation Theater was inaugurated by Sri Ananth Kumar, Member of Parliament, Bangalore South on the occasion.

A Glaucoma Clinic was inaugurated by Shri N. S. Raghavan, founder director, Infosys. Actor Sudeep and Anirudh graced the inaugural. Senior Ophthalmologists of the state Prof. Dr. K. Subramanian, Prof. Dr. C.R. Thirumalachar and Prof. Dr. S. Chandrashekar Shetty were felicitated by Dr. K.Y. Narasimha Murthy, the Medical Director of Sunayana Eye Hospital.
