Women entrepreneurs today need to be provided with an access to financial resources and linkages with agencies to facilitate exports to help support their initiatives. This meeting gives a common platform for women-owned SMEs to discuss the common issues and challenges that they face and to identify best practices and policies. IWEN advices the enthusiastic entrepreneurs to think big, start small and move fast.
Commenting on IWEN meet Rashmi Vallabhajosyula Founder & CEO, Altius Consulting said, “Most women are rushing back after work to don the mommy hat and networking definitely takes a back seat and the entrepreneur in them looses out on opportunities that might arise out of such events. Seeing this gap in the entrepreneurial stage I started the Indian Women Entrepreneurs Network, which proposes to become a forum where women entrepreneurs can network, share experiences and gain from the collective knowledge, while keeping the mommy priorities in mind. The first edition was a healthy success and the second edition of the event also attracted similar participation though with growth in numbers. I’m enthusiastically looking forward to organizing the next IWEN meet”

He held an interactive session on how to ideate on Innovation amongst entrepreneurs. It was interesting to know the problems women entrepreneurs are facing today which are almost like any other entrepreneurs. The session was lively and encouraging. ”
