Why these double standards?
Sir,
The Government of Karnataka on Sunday has unveiled  the statue of Tamil poet-saint Thiruvalluvar  at Ulsoor by spending  huge sums of money .However the Government has postponed the inauguration of the much delayed Bus terminal at Jayanagar 4th block as it violates election code of conduct for the forthcoming byelections to state assembly 
One cannot understand when a function can be held in Shivajinagar constituency, why  a similar function cannot be held in other  constituency of the city ?
The Bus stand has been planned for many years, and the people of Jayanagar have been deprived of new bus routes pending completion of the bus stand.
Everyday commuters are put into hardship with temporary bus stand and citizens are caught up in traffic hazards. - N. Mukund , Jayanagar Bangalore-41
