Motorist mowed down by BMTC Bus

A motorist was mowed down by the Vayvu Vajra Volvo Bus on 27th July Monday night at South End 'B' Main near SLV hotel JP Nagar at about 11.15 pm. The accident happened when Sharath Kumar was returning home at 9th block Jayanagar.

A bus hit the two-wheeler from behind, and Sharat suffered severe head injuries and was lying in a pool of blood. Passersby immediately notified the Jayanagar Traffic Police and the deceased was taken to the Kims Hospital where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.

While the public did not allow the bus to move the Jayanagar Accident squad seized the bus and took the driver in to police custody against whom a case has been registered.
