Seven Hotel Presents French Cookery Classes
Welcome to Easy French Food!
Is there any such thing as easy French food? Of course!
French cooking isn't all complicated. In fact most of the cooking that goes on day-to-day in a typical French kitchen is quite simple. There are no special techniques for you to master to produce mouth watering entrees, satisfying main courses, or luscious desserts.
With the simple recipes, techniques and food information you find here, you can learn to eat like the French by:
- Choosing the best ingredients
- Preparing elegant food with little hassle
- Presenting your creations in beautiful ways
- Aiming for balance in your overall meal plan
- And most importantly sitting down to eat with good company and a joyful attitude.
Here you will find a large selection of easy French recipes that emphasize quality, healthy ingredients. Some people love the fussiness of French cooking, but maybe you don't have the time or inclination to use five pots to prepare one sauce.

Get all of the oo-la-la without all of the mess and save yourself a few calories along the way.
In the process of making these French recipes easy for you, Chef Prakyath has eliminated some of the fat that just isn't needed (half a pound of butter to cook one chicken is surely a bit overboard). But the chef doesn’t promise you that they are fat free – “it just wouldn't be French if it was” he says.
However, Easy French Food definitely emphasizes healthy eating.
An unexpected plus of adapting French recipes to your busy lifestyle is that it may help you stay slender! It is remarkable that the French usually do not have problems with their weight. How do they do that?
The secret, believes the chef, is that the French ENJOY their food. So, why don’t you?
This class will teach a three French course menu, namely -
A mocktail - Mango blossom
- A starter - beignets de courgette [zucchini fritters]
- A main course - poulet a la moutarde [dijon chicken]
The charge for the lessons is Rs 300/- per person.
The cooking class will be held at SEVEN HOTEL at 1 p.m on Saturday, 25th July 2009
The Seven Hotel Cookery lessons will take place on the 3rd Saturday of every month!
