CHOOSE YOUR CAREER WITH CARE
There comes a time in a person's life where he exhibits confusion in choosing his career. Most of the people make the mistake of choosing a career that appears to be in demand at that particular time, without realizing where their area of interest lies. In the early and late 1990s there was a tremendous demand for computer professionals .Civil and Mechanical Engineers, Dentists, Commerce and Arts graduates began to succumb to the demand of the computer industry, hoping to grab the bounty the computer industry was promising. The rush appeared maddening, people who were ignorant of computers wanted to become computer professionals in a few months. It wasn't long before the computer industry crashed and hundreds of companies vanished resulting in thousands of people being unemployed. People who were passionate about computers sustained and the ones who were attracted to the computer industry keeping the trend in mind had no options but to change their profession.
Trends keep changing like a pair of Jeans whose fit and design changes every now and then. What is in fashion now may not be so tomorrow. If you are passionate about photography, choose a career in photography. If your passion is law, choose a career in law. With students choosing their course of study can be a tricky situation at times, especially if there is no one to guide. If their love is Architecture and they are forced to study Medicine then their output will be limited. Some choose to study science after having a history of poor scoring marks in science and mathematics, they very soon realize that their choice doesn't seem interesting; they have a tough time understanding their subjects owing to their poor basics. Thus begins years of struggle or they quit half way. You must have seen some people are obsessed with their work; their work begins early in the morning and ends late at night, the long working hours do not tire them. These are the people who are in love with their work, and every moment of their work gives them utmost satisfaction. Their passion eventually makes them generate the results they dream of. If a person is not in love with his work, he is most of the time watching the clock, waiting for that particular sign that will liberate him from his ordeal. These are the people who are the least successful in their lives. Remember, nobody became successful doing those things that they didn't like. Some people might say that people who lack enthusiasm towards their jobs are lazy. But, nature doesn't design humans for laziness; it is just that people who appear lazy are the ones who do not have challenging goals in their life.
Choosing a career for an adult or choosing a course of study for a student requires serious and smart decisions. It finally determines what you are or what you want to be known as a person.
