Free Health Check up for Auto Drivers & their vehicles!

TVS Tyres organized for the first time a free health camp and Auto Check-up for auto drivers, at Jayanagar MLA's office. BN Vijayakumar, Jayanagar MLA,  D. Vijaya Vikram, Joint Commissioner, Transport, K.A. Hazeez, IGP Traffic, Krishna Bhat, DCP presided. Mr. Pratab and Vijayan from TVS, Ex. Corporators CK Ramamurthy and B. Somashekar graced the event.
The three day camp from July 2-4 has treated up to now 200 autorickshaw drivers a day covering Blood checkup, Eye test, ECG and Blood pressure including for their family members also, with free medicines and refreshments. The auto checkup included Tyre checkup, break fluid and oil, break lining, engine oil, clutch wiring  and front rear light. The organizers held a pilot camp earlier in Indiranagar and boosted by the response decided to hold one in Jayanagar.
TVS Tyres plans to hold such camps all over the city. The purpose of the camp was to educate the autorickshaw drivers towards maintenance of good health of their vehicles and their health, and also encourage them to follow traffic rules.
