FREE COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE DISABLED
Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled has been working since 1997 for the empowerment of the disabled and deprived people of India. The Trust is working to keep them in pace with the rest of the society by providing them with quality education, accommodation, nutritious food, vocational training, placement based rehabilitation and facilitate them to live self-sustained lives. The organisation is also working to create an inclusive society which provides opportunities; without any discrimination for the development of its stakeholders.
Tech Vision, an initiative of Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled offers a short term computer training programme for the people with disabilities. KEONICS, Government of Karnataka has approved the course and issues the certificate of merit for the successful candidates. The course is open to all PUC/Diploma/Degree holders with disabilities across Karnataka. Free lodging and boarding will be provided for candidates who are not from Bangalore. Deserving candidates will also be assisted with job opportunities. The duration of the course is for four months.
The objective of this training programme is to facilitate persons with disabilities by enhancing their technical and social skills, to build self confidence and enabling them to live a life with dignity.
