Jayanagar's Mr Nice Businessman missing

A well known businessman Mr. Prasad, Ceat Shoppe dealer from 4th Block, Jayanagar is missing since 29th June. As per his normal schedule, he closes his shop by 8.30 pm and is the last person to leave the shop. He is accustomed to walk to his residence in Sarakki as he likes to take a walk after work.
On that day, his wife got anxious when he did not come home till 10 pm and learnt that he had left as usual and apparently had Rs 7000 cash with him.
On the advice of her neighbors, his wife lodged a complaint with the Jayanagar police station, but he is yet to be traced.
As of now, the police are clueless about his whereabouts. Prasad's mobile had been switched off. Investigation by police revealed that they could trace only two outgoing call calls from his mobile - to his wife and daughter.
Prasad's disappearance is a mystery to all those who know him. He had no domestic strife, no enemies, no debts, or business problems or rivalry. He had an excellent rapport with all his customers and loved to talk about civic problems, politics, national issues, etc. He was also an avid reader of TWB and a regular contributor.
Prasad was earlier working in L&T, and later left the company to venture into his own business as a Ceat Shoppe dealer. For the last 12 years, he had been serving the residents of Jayanagar and surroundings and had become a familiar figure to many long-timer residents of Jayanagar.

His daughter who is studying abroad and his wife are suspecting the worst, and hoping for the best.
The police has flashed the news of his missing in all railway stations and police stations, but the search has been elusive as of now.
Incidentally, Prasad happens to be the classmate of Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari. One hopes he will be back amongst all of us, complaining about civic problems, as usual. Meanwhile, in a sign of desperation, his family members, friends, relatives, well wishers and colleagues have appealed to Prasad to come back, because not only they, but society too needs him.
Come back, Prasad. You are too good to …do the unthinkable.
