A month-long Padayatra by BNV

Most of the MLAs and MPs are busy with their demands for plum portfolios of chairmen of lucrative and powerful bodies. Jayanagar MLA BN Vijaykumar is also busy - visiting his constituency! He is busier than the others with a month-long Padayatra of his constituency. Earlier this week, he wound up ward visits of all the wards coming under JP Nagar.
To enable spot decisions, he is taking with him officials from BWSSB, BESCOM and BBMP.
Residents are besieging him with their grievances oral or written, and mostly they pertain to asphalting of roads, improvement of foot paths, drainage problems, clearing unwanted debris, etc.
With his initiative, a reading room is coming up at Vyasa Colony JP Nagar 1st Phase and is almost ready to open to the public.
Given the response of the people to BNV's yatra, it should not be surprising if his party, the BJP repeats its winning performance in the forthcoming BBMP elections.
