Minor dispute leads to death

In a tragic incident, a 26-year-old software engineer ended his life by jumping from the 8th floor of his office in Electronic City.

According to police, the deceased, Rambabu Shetty, a native of Andhra Pradesh and working in Wipro, was suffering from depression as he was physically challenged. He had lost his hand in an accident three years ago.

Shetty had moved a month ago to Bangalore from Hyderabad and no one had any clue about his depression. On Tuesday, he went out with his wife to check his email. He told his wife to wait for him at the reception counter and later went to the 8th floor and jumped to death from the parapet wall.

The post-mortem was conducted at the Victoria hospital and the body was handed over to his relatives. The Electronic City police are investigating.
