Summer Residential Theatre Workshop for Kids

Infinite Souls Artists Retreat, 40km from Bangalore. Enjoy Kalaripayattu, konokol, iambic pentameter and Shakespeare along with treks, camping and woodfire cooking. Facilitated by Kirtana Kumar and Theatre Lab, the objective of the workshp is to give children that breath of fresh air, camraderie and intellectual stimulation necessary to prepare them for the new term.
For children in the 9th and 10th, the workshop also offers the opportunity to study Shakespeare's Julius Caesar through the medium of theatre, making it exciting and accessible. Dates are May 25th - 28th 2009. Accomodation is in tents, food is vegetarian and largely organic. Apple crumble and scones on the menu.
