Revathy in Ranga Shankara's  "1 Madhav Bagh"

Ranga Shankara's "Other Voices" will present a special performance by actor of repute and director, Revathy  Menon from May 1st to May 3rd, at 9:15 PM on all days.

"Other Voices" presents short, intimate performances played for a small number of people. A performance in close up, one that can show wrinkles and all, one that can enter a moment, stay there and hold it. "Other Voices" debuted at the Ranga Shankara's annual Festival 2007 with two performances, one of which was "1 Madhav Bagh".

"1 Madhav Bagh", is an intimate rendition of a mother about her son, performed by Revathy Menon. The acclaimed actor-director from Chennai made her debut in theatre with this piece and has travelled with it to several cities in India and abroad too. "1 Madhav Bagh" is directed by Mariam Jetpurwala. The translation is by Shanta Gokhale.

Since the performance is in a small space in Ranga Shankara, only 25 tickets are sold per show. Tickets are available on www.indianstage.in now and at Ranga Shankara on the day of the show only.
