MICRO OBSERVER AT GEDDALAHALLI DIES ON DUTY

A Micro-observer Mr T. V. Krishnappa, drafted to Election Duty at Polling Station No. 108 at the Government School at Geddalahalli at No. 181 Nelamangala Assembly Segment in No. 27 Chikkaballapura Lok Sabha Constituency died around noon on Thursday.

Mr Kishnappa, who was clerk at Corporation Bank at Kanasavadi Branch, was appointed Micro Observer at the Geddalahalli Polling Station. Mr Krishnappa, who had his breakfast in the morning and was on duty at the spot complained of uneasiness at about 11 am.  He was taken on a motorbike to Nelamangala by Mr Revanasiddaiah, a good samaritan. He suddenly found Mr Krishnappa unconscious and shifted him to Jai Prasad Nursing Home at Nelamangala, in a jeep. The doctors at the nursing home declared that Mr Krishnappa was brought dead.
Forty five year-old Mr Krishnappa, native of Hosalli in Thalaghattapura, near Bangalore leaves behind his wife and two children.

A postmortem was performed at the Government Hospital at Nelamangala, before handing over Mr Krishnappa's body to his relatives. In his busy schedule also, the Nelamangala Tahsildar Mr Gopalaiah took time to pay respects to the departed soul and to extend all possible help to the family of Mr Krishnappa.
