Why go to Commercial street or MG road for shopping when there is a big and unique Shopping fest available right in your neighborhood. Just take a walk or drive in, it only takes 10 minutes to reach this place. Sahara Arts & Crafts Bazaar is conducting the JP Nagar Sahara Summer Shopping Fest for the 5th time, and people eagerly wait for this to come, as there is lot of fun and shopping experience with special food court, and more than 150 artisans displaying their wares from different parts of India. The whole ground is fully decorated with beautiful lighting setting to add a celebratory mood to shopping. According to the organizer, Rakesh, the items sold are affordable and not high priced.
The Sahara Arts & Crafts Shopping Fest in JP Nagar Ground, opp. RV Dental College, is a one-stop shop for artisans, exporters, consumers and the discerning shopper, with an eye for something special. Delve into this awesome and admirable world of designs and colors, of glaze and grandeur, intricate embroidery and zari, and more. The exhibition has an amazing spread of handcrafted jewellery, fine hand embroidered textiles, beads and zari work, block printed dress materials and bed sheets, Hyderabad Pearls and Orissa Filgree silver jewellery, handicrafts and handlooms, Tushar silk, Rajasthani lakh bangles and jutes, wood carvings and inlay, Khurja pottery, mat weaving and carpets, handmade agarbathies, etc.

Organised in association with the Ministry of Textiles by the Sahara Handicrafts and Handloom Association, the festival is a great opportunity for the public to get a peek at the various rare and dying crafts, said Rakesh. The products are attractively priced as the main aim is to give a platform to the highly talented artisans and craftsmen from all over the country, he said.
On display are some of the collections from award winning artisans. Visitors can also get their portrait done within 5 minutes across the table from a highly talented artist.
