Walk- a -Talk at Lalbagh
Earlier, Krishne Byre Gowda accompanied by senior leaders Professor B.K Chandrashekar, Information technology and Bio technology and Chairman of the legislative council, was the man of the moment as his earnest and forthright responses enthused walkers to abandon their morning fitness regimes to focus on the issues of Bangalore city. Krishna addressed a variety of issues with the walkers who were enthused by Krishna Byre Gowda's youth, sincerity and commitment to progress. Young and old alike joined Krishna's contingent as they made their way down the tree-lined walkways discussing the imperative measures that need to be put in place to improve living conditions in Bangalore.
Krishna was focused on giving his people a louder voice at the centre and to push for initiatives to make Bangalore more livable and lovable. He stated that we need to give Bangalore a new identity by focusing on several key sectors such as water, roads, housing and electricity. He believes that we can make a huge difference in curbing pollution by implementing long-term plans to introduce CNG in automobiles.
A lot of walkers seemed concerned about the fading green of Bangalore with one of them pointing out a 150 year old tree to Krishna that had recently been felled. Krishna while expressing disappointment at the fate of the tree said that we all have to do our bit to plant trees and ensure that for every tree that's cut to make way for development, five more are planted and ready to take its place.

Most of the audience who joined the walk with Krishna Byre Gowda engaged keenly in the discussions. While addressing security issues, Krishna made an important observation that we also have to take a long term view of the security and safety issue. He said that he believed that an inclusive society was a secure society and that divisive politics would only breed discontent.
His belief was that a society focused on inclusive growth would lead to a brighter India.
Walk over, it was time for a Khara bath and masala dosa at MTR. Dosa after Koffee? It's another trend in this election!
