FranklinCovey GAT Management SchooFranklinCovey, the global leader in the field of developing & building organizational & personal effectiveness, in collaboration with Global Academy of Technology and Vati Learning Solutions, announced the launch of FranklinCovey GAT Management School (FCGMS), a premier management school in the Silicon Valley of India. The school is dedicated to providing a creative and stimulating environment to all of its students The school will be located at the Global Academy of Technology Campus in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore. This is the first time FranklinCovey has been a part of the founding team of a Management School in this part of the world.
FCGMS will offer an autonomous Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). a 15-month programme comprising six terms and terms 6 to 10 months , the cost for the course is Rs. 6.5 lakh and financial options are available with SBI and Andhra Bank. The first session will commence on 27th July 2009 and will be restricted to 120 students only with boarding and lodging facilities. The applications are been issued online and the last date for the submission is 10th of May 2009.
The FCGMS curriculum has been designed by taking inputs from the industry and with contributions from eminent academicians and corporate czars including Jack Welch, Stephen R Convey, Ram Charan, Jim Collins, Dr. Roger Moser and Dr Yegneshwar, to name a few. The faculty comes with experience and extensive industry knowledge to provide high quality management education,

Admission criteria
The admission criteria are as follows:
A graduate in engineering/sciences/arts/management with a minimum of 50% marks in the graduate 
program from a recognized university.
A minimum work experience of 1 + years
Having a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT score (the cut-off's for the first batch are not being predetermined 
as of now)
Extra curricular and social activities in addition to academics would be preferred.
The candidates shortlisted based on the above criteria would be participating in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview process scheduled between 15th -30th May 2009 based on which the final shortlist for admission would be declared.
