The crowd which gathered at the venue comprised of supporters across all age groups who wanted to voice their concerns about Bangalore and wanted key issues addressed by Krishna, one of the most promising and progressive candidate that this election has thrown up.  Most of them present were enthused about the fact that Krishna felt very strongly about issues that they raised.  He addressed issues ranging from education to youth involvement in governance to infrastructure issues.
Answering a question on women's safety issues, Krishna said there can be no compromise on women's safety and individual liberty.  He added that it is in our culture to respect and protect women's dignity and irrespective of whether he wins the election or not, he will be working to provide a safer Bangalore for one and all.
Addressing a query on the increasing cost of higher education, Krishna said that presently it is so because of short supply of quality institutions, however, by increasing the number of private and public higher education institutions, higher education can be made more affordable.

He also talked in detail about re-establishing the image of Bangalore by strengthening infrastructure and help speed up the various development projects in the city.  He was also very emphatic about decongesting Bangalore roads.
He said that he hoped to achieve his vision for Bangalore by involving all sections of the society and getting them to actively participate in the electoral process.  He strongly believes that harnessing the power of the people, and especially the youth would inevitably lead to better governance and a more progressive society.
Addressing the question about his moving from an MLA to contesting to become an MP, he said that he was able to work for his people during his 3 terms as an MLA and now wanted to represent and voice their concerns in Parliament to effect greater change as the voice is greater at the centre.
