Rahul Gandhi tears into BJPRahul Gandhi, Congress Star Campaigner and General secretary visited National College Ground Basavanagudi, to campaign specially for Krishna Byre Gowda, after visiting Gulbarga, Chitradurga, Belgaum and Davanagere. The meet was attended by senior Congress leaders DK Shivakumar, RV Deshpande, SM Krishna, Krishna Byre Gowda, Jaffer Sheirief, Ramalinga Reddy, RV Devaraj, Narendra Babu, Suresh and all the party workers. A lot of youngsters thronged the front row to have a glimpse of their heroes viz. Krishna Byre Gowda and Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing the gathering, SM Krishna said that we have a leader like Sonia Gandhi who sacrificed the PM post when it came to her door step which had never happened in history. Garibi Hatao was Indira Gandhi’s brainchild.
When Congress was in power, Karnataka and Bangalore was known as IT BT Silicon Valley, while there was stiff competition from Hyderabad. But today, investors were shying away from Bangalore because the present government has no vision.
The Midday meal was launched by Congress for school children with fund outlay of Rs 300 crore, while today under UPA and Manmohan Singh as PM it had became a National Programme.
Krishna Byre Gowda urged the youth of today and future leaders to join hands with Congress who has a young leader like Rahul Gandhi who had special vision for youths and thanked all the Bangalore south voters for giving him a great response from the youth in particular.
Taking the podium, Rahul recalled the time when he accompanied his father to Bangalore, when he had envisaged a great future for Bangalore, much before it became a reality under Congress rule. That vision became true when SM Krishna was CM.

The traffic situation was going from bad to worse, public transport was bad, pollution was getting worse by the day.
On terrorism, he pooh poohed Advani’s allegation of Manmohan Singh being a weak leader, asking what Advani did when Parliament was attacked and was he not aware that as home minister, he had sent a minister as escort to terrorists. He also ridiculed Advani’s remark that he was unaware about the whole thing.
In the recent Mumbai terror attack the Prime Minster took a lot of initiative and put relentless effort in pressurizing Pakistan to get to the bottom of it.

After UPA came to power in Jammu and Kashmir people are in peace many came out in huge numbers and voted, where as when NDA it was not so, he pointed out.
Rahul also roundly condemned the moral policing that was happening right under the nose of the BJP government. He also condemned the CM for not attending a security measure meet organized in Delhi three times on special focus for Bangalore. 
They are dividing people in all States, in Maharashtra they were targeting the non-locals, in Bihar, they attack Maharashtrians, what sort of Indian culture are they talking about, he remarked.
He also pointed out that while the BJP failed in signing the nuclear deal, the Congress had succeeded.
He also spoke about how HT Sangliana was betrayed by the BJP, and how though initially skeptical, he was convinced about the winnability of Krishna Byre Gowda, a dynamic youth leader.
