Artists for Art!

Displaying a commendable sense of unity, a group of artists have come together to raise funds for an art show. Fifty seven artists are pooling in their sale proceeds in part/full of their 63 works to organize an art exhibition cum sale as a fund raiser for India Foundation for the Arts (IFA).
To name a few artists Gulam Mohammed Sheikh, Abhimanyu V G., Abul Kalam, Anand Gadap, Annu Matthew, Arun Kumar H G, Balaji Ponna, Bhagyanath C, Debasis Barui, Faiza Huma, Fawzan Husain, George Martin P J,  Harsha N S, Jasmeen Patheja, Jayanta Mondal, Jayashree Chakravarty, Josh P S, K G Antony, and many artists
The show is curated by Mr Abhishek Poddar. Atul Dodiya will open the show known as The Big Picture at WelcomArt Gallery, ITC Windsor 25, Windsor Square, Golf Course Road.

India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is one of the country's leading independent arts funders, championing the cause of arts philanthropy and advocating the importance of the arts in public life.
 IFA was set up in Bangalore in 1993 to focus on urgent but unattended needs in specific areas of the arts. Since it began it has committed almost 13 crore rupees (approximately 2.7 million US dollars) to projects located in almost every corner of the country.

Today it funds cutting edge artistic practice, supports initiatives to bring the arts into the classroom, assists in institution building, funds scholarship in the arts, and helps to preserve and transmit valuable cultural knowledge.
