Mr. Sushant Dash, Head of Marketing, Tata Tea stated, "Jaago Re! One Billion Votes campaign is part of and extension of the Jaago Re campaign that Tata Tea launched in 2007. While the campaign has implanted itself in the minds of the youth, we thought a innovative means of connect has to be used to ensure that the impact translates into required action by the youth. With this tour in particular and the campaign in general, we want to change the mindset of the youth and awaken them to the importance of exercising their right to vote as a means to bring about the change they seek."

Bruce Lee Mani, the lead vocalist and guitarist for Thermal and a Quarter elatedly shared, "We are truly honoured to be a part of this campaign. As responsible citizens of this country, it is necessary to awaken the generation of today to actively participate in voting to elect the right leader. We aim to motivate the youth to join this endeavour through our music".
